Bewleys Hotel Ballsbridge

This Discount Hotel is located in Ballsbridge, next to the RDS, while at the same time being a short distance to Dublin City centre. The reason you might choose to stay in this hotel is due to its location and also perhaps familiarity, since you may already be familiar with Bewleys Hotels in general. If you are not familiar with Bewleys Hotels take a look at their website www.bewleyshotels.com - don’t bother with “bewleyshotel.com”, this is just a bookmark site and won’t tell you anything. If you are travelling from the US or Europe to Ireland and are not familiar with this hotel chain, they could be described as equivalent to maybe Best Western or Ibis and maybe a hair below Holiday Inn (just an opinion). They are good discount hotels and like other hotel chains you can expect a certain 3 star level of accomodation from all Bewleys hotels.

Discount Hotel Dublin pick - Bewleys Hotel in Ballsbridge

With Bewleys you get a certain level of service and comfort without paying a fortune. You can expect to pay just over €100 per room per night at this Discount Dublin Hotel. Bewleys Ballsbridge has over 300 bedrooms and an award winning restaurant called O’Connell’s. If you are travelling to Dublin by plane then its useful that this discount dublin hotel is serviced by aircoach. The hotel also offers free wifi internet access to all guests, tea/coffee making facilities in each bedroom (tea bags and coffee sachets - no drip coffee makers); there is a TV with multichannel access (no pay movies in general), hairdryer, iron & ironing board and room safe. There is a choice of double, twin, wheelchair accessible and family rooms. You should call the hotel to organize a family room. The last time we stayed in the Newlands cross Bewleys, we were informed that the family rooms were only available on request and they did not tell us about them - we had to ask. The good thing is that you should be able to get a family room for the same rate as a double room.
